Festive Shared Reading with The Heritage Reader

  • An Acre of Land, Groves Yard 31 Shipton Road Milton-under-Wychwood, England, OX7 6JW United Kingdom (map)

Thursday 3 December | 6.30pm to 8pm

There is something rather special about being read to, especially at Christmas.

As part of our 12 Days of Christmas celebrations, we're delighted to welcome Aimée Francis of The Heritage Reader to The Studio at An Acre of Land for an evening of festive shared reading.

Gather together over mulled wine, Christmas punch and mince pies as Aimée guides us through a nostalgic passage from a much-loved Christmas book, followed by a related poem.

Along the way, there will be opportunities to pause, reflect and share the thoughts, feelings and memories that the words bring to mind. Perhaps a childhood Christmas, a familiar family tradition or simply the pleasure of hearing a beautiful passage read aloud.

You are welcome to join in the reading or simply sit back and listen. There is no need to prepare anything, bring a book or read anything beforehand.

Just bring yourself and enjoy an evening of good company, wonderful words and a little festive cheer.
