The Olchon Coat
Named after the Olchon Valley, a quiet fold in the Welsh borders where the Black Mountains meet the sky.
The Olchon nods to the Georgian era — to the sweeping, dramatic outerwear of women who strode across untamed landscapes.
Designed to be worn over the dresses in the collection and to move with you along tracks, old and new.
Garment description
Three godets let into the skirt give the Olchon its volume and swing. A back tab button or ties to pull in the silhouette. The cuffs button back to reveal whatever sleeve detail lies beneath.
The Olchon comes in six beautiful colourways:
Black with natural stripe
Natural with cream stripe
Natural
Black
Cream
Brown

Styling Notes
Scrunch the pockets, neckline and cuffs whilst the linen is still damp, then leave it to dry. The result is a gloriously rugged, crinkled coat that looks as though it has already lived a life.
Pair it over the Creek Dress or the North Country Dress for a complete look, or layer the Keeper Waistcoat underneath for extra warmth. The Farndale Blouse, with its cotton lace cuffs, sits particularly beautifully beneath the Olchon. Simply unbutton the cuffs and let them show.
