The best coats are the ones you reach for without thinking. The ones that have been on the back of the door so long, they feel like part of the house. 

Flung over your shoulder on the way out, thrown over a dress at the last moment, pulled on at the end of an afternoon when the temperature drops just enough to need something. The Over Coat is that coat.

It’s a light and breezy addition to a spring/summer wardrobe, and substantial enough to feel like proper outerwear.

Garment description

Cut from hand-loomed cotton in a generous, unstructured shape, the Over Coat fastens with a single button at the front and falls somewhere between a coat and a coverall. 

A small pleat at the waist is echoed in the sleeve, a quiet detail that gives the coat its shape and coherence. In-seam pockets. 

Available in two fabrics:

Blue check hand-loomed cotton

Blue chambray hand-loomed cotton
