The tuxedo shirt was made for black tie. The Tux Tux Shirt has other ideas. It has a tiny collar just wide enough for a ribbon tied beneath or a narrow silk scarf. It’s one of the most considered pieces in our collection, going under almost anything.

Garment description

Cut from 100% cotton with a generous fit, the Tux Tux Shirt has pintucks down the front, placed to show beautifully beneath the bib of a pinafore. The tiny collar fastens close to the neck and can be worn flat or raised. Buttons at the cuffs and down the front.

Styling notes

Wear it under the Creek Dress, the North Country Dress or the Staithes Dress for a look that changes those pinafores entirely, the pintucked front and collar showing at the neck. The Keeper Waistcoat over the top adds another layer without hiding any of the detail.

Our styles are designed with a generous cut to give an ‘A-line’ silhouette.

Belts, buttons and other accessories can be used to accentuate wherever you would like.

The garments can be sized up and down freely, depending upon your fit preference and with layering in mind.
